Articles, book chapters and books needed for the purpose of research or study for hospital business which are not held in the Library's print or online collection can be requested. Eligibility for use of the service is limited to staff of St Vincent's Hospital and affiliated departments. Students are only eligible if working on a research project within a department.

We aim to locate and supply requested material from non-commercial suppliers. Where the article/chapter/book can only be supplied from commercial suppliers the requestor will be contacted to discuss its need and cost.
The cost of article/book chapter copies may be covered by the Library if not available from non-commercial suppliers.
The cost for the supply of a book can be authorized by a cost center manager or paid in cash. A fee of $30.30 applies.
