This is a special issue of Mental Health Update about telehealth and other remote consultations. It includes video, web and telephone consultations that require direct interaction between mental health practitioners and clients. It does not include mobile apps, websites or ehealth interventions without a direct interaction. This is especially relevant during the Covid-19 pandemic.
