EndNote is reference management software that can save you a lot of time finding PDFs and citing in your document. You can use EndNote to:
Create your own library of references
Insert citations or footnotes and generate bibliographies
Collaborate with others
EndNote Onsite
St. Vincent's Hospital Melbourne has a site licence and EndNote 21 is installed on most PCs, check under Start then Programs. If you do not have the EndNote program on your work computer, call IT Services on 9231 4000 or 1300 518 001 to request it.
If you anticipate needing access your EndNote while at home only on the odd occasion, then consider creating an account for EndNote Online from your desktop onsite. When you set up an account with EndNote Online your EndNote Library is posted to the web and can be accessed with your account name and password from any internet connection.
EndNote Offsite
If you are working from home and haven't set up EndNote Online you can use EndNote Basic or install the EndNote 21 program on your home computer. To learn more about these options see EndNote Offsite.
