Through the provision of care, advocacy and research, St Vincent's Hospital Australia seeks to change the structures and systems that lead to some people experiencing poorer health outcomes than others as a consequence of poverty, marginalisation or vulnerability.
St Vincent's focus is on addressing the health care needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people experiencing chronic homelessness and people living in the community seeking asylum.
St Vincent's efforts in regard to each of these communities are directed through:
