For this year's AMCD Research Week, Dr Drew Barry presented the keynote address on Monday, showcasing some the impressive work he has done and projects he has involved, in creating biomedical animations.
You can view his work on WEHI.TV
These physiologically accurate computer animations of various molecular processes help us understand these complex processes in ways that written explanations would struggle to evoke.
Much of Dr Barry's work has been pitched at high school level comprehension, including contributing to an online biology course available on Itunes - Biology: Life on Earth from the E. O. Wilson Biodiversity Foundation.
